Beacon 85 is a multifamily apartment building located in an urban-like setting of Lakewood, Colorado near a RTD light rail station. The development consists of 343 residential units and one hotel unit for the residents’ visiting guests. The residential structure is made up of five levels of wood frame on top of a caisson and grade beam foundation system. Approximately one third of the apartments rest on elevated posted tension podium decks. The eight-level precast parking garage includes 355 residential and visitor parking spots in addition to the Bike Center that provides parking for 215 bicycles.
The exteriors are comprised of architectural concrete, Hardie Panel siding, stucco and Nichiha rain screen panels.
The apartment units consist of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units adorned with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and designer plumbing and light fixtures. Notable amenity features include a lounge and swimming pool, fitness room and a penthouse club room.
