CFC Construction Names Josh Thall As Director Of Procurement
New Leader Brings Energy, Commitment, Creativity, and Diverse Experience
CFC Construction is thrilled to announce the promotion of Josh Thall to Director of Procurement. Thall’s new role will bridge the gap between business development, preconstruction, and operations, helping to ensure that CFC’s bidding and planning activities are in alignment with how each project will be bought, staffed, and built. With 20+ years in both construction and development across hospitality, multifamily, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and beyond, Thall’s experience wearing a wide variety of hats on an even wider range of builds enables him to understand project needs and success factors from every angle.
“Josh is a proven leader and creative thinker who understands perspectives from both sides of the table,” said CFC President Sean Smith. “He joined CFC in 2023 with a strong desire to get back to the construction side, wanting a more hands-on role where he could have a greater impact on project teams and outcomes. He absolutely has what it takes to help CFC keep succeeding and growing.” Josh first brought his leadership skills to bear as a Senior Project Manager for a 16-story, 336-unit multifamily project, Denargo IV. With that project nearing completion, CFC leadership is confident the time is right to give Josh the reins on CFC’s procurement activities. Thall, who has a well-demonstrated passion for managing, mentoring, and upleveling teams, will also oversee CFC’s Preconstruction and Estimating departments.
Said CFC Vice President of Project Development Tamara Bujakowski, who has known and occasionally worked with Thall over the course of nearly two decades, “Josh’s approach is a perfect fit with CFC’s philosophy. He really values CFC’s commitment to investing in its people, and will play a big role in creating the next generation of leaders here at CFC.”
Thall himself is delighted to help lead the longtime Colorado builder’s next phase of growth. He said, “We’ve been known as a primarily multifamily builder for many years. CFC is much more than that, and I’m excited to show the market our capabilities. In short, CFC is the partner that clients, subs, and employees want to work with.”
Thall holds a BS from the University of California and earned his Professional Certification in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is a LEED Accredited Professional certified by the US Green Building Council, an AHA/ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor, and Licensed General Contractor in Colorado.
