Safety First . . . Without Compromise!
At CFC, safety is an issue on which we never question or compromise. CFC's commitment to job safety is exemplified by the
presence of a full-time Director of Safety and Quality.
With the Director's oversight, jobsite superintendents are
responsible for the day-to-day administration, monitoring,
and enforcement of the safety and quality assurance policies.
Our subcontractor pool is a direct reflection on the CFC
team and on the company's end product. Strict adherence
to the company's comprehensive safety and quality programs
is required of all subcontractors.
CFC's jobsite safety program has been recognized
nationally as a recipient of the STEP Platinum Level
Achievement Award from Associated Builders and
Contractor's, Inc. (ABC). The STEP program recognizes four levels of safety
and health program achievements. Platinum is the highest
level of achievement.
Out of 23,000 applicants, CFC was one of only 240 companies
meriting the STEP Platinum award in 2002. CFC's commitment
to jobsite safety has earned this highest honor each year
since the program's inception in 1999.
